Here's the thing. I don't like zombies. Movies, videos, books. Not my thing. Why, then, am I linking to a trailer for books about zombies?

Okay. See, I've read other books by the author. Mira Grant - author of Feed and Deadline = seanan_mcguire - author of the awesome Toby Daye fantasy novels. I love her style and her storytelling and thought I'd give Feed a try. I picked it up on vacation last fall and read a good chunk of it on planes and in airports on my way home. (Between my exuberance for a book about zombies and the Day of the Dead skull bracelets I was wearing, I may have ... startled my seatmate.)

Don't think "zombie book". Think political thriller/murder mystery that happens to be set in a world where zombies are not only real but humanity's fault.

Give Feed a try. I don't think you'll regret it. I don't.
